Shifts

Shifts are useful option for keeping a track of your cash drawers and Clerk activity.  

When a Clerk first logs in to the POS the cash drawer is "Opened" and a cash count is performed and a Shift record is created.  When the Clerk leaves, the drawer is "Closed" and the Clerk cashes out and the Shift record is updated from "Open" to "Closed".  

A Clerk subsequently logging in and out during the course of the day does not create more Shift records.

Note: Data on this screen should not be edited; however, admins have access to edit should the need arise.
