Promotions are a powerful feature that allow you to define time, product, automatic and more complex discounts. You can also restrict promotions to specific terminals or stores.
Whole Order Promotions
Whole order promotions always link to a order discount item. For example, you can offer a 20% coupon for walk-in customers over the holidays that is valid for the first two weeks on the new year.
Item/Product Promotions
The can be applied automatically (on the scan of a product) or manually. Complex promotions can be defined. For example, you might offer a "Buy 2 Get One Free" promotion on a Hot Dog.
