Gift Cards
Note: Gift Cards is a add-on module
You first sell a gift card in the POS and load the card with the card number and authorization code. Once the card is loaded and the transaction is complete it is written to the gift card object for latter redemption.
A gift card is redeemed at the POS by selecting the gift card as payment. Once the sale is complete, the gift card is applied to the transaction and the gift card object is then updated with the redemption amount.
Note: Data on this screen should not be edited; however, admins have access to edit should the need arise.
