SuiteRetail Inc. Acquires OnSite, a NetSuite SDN Partner

September 27, 2013

August 2013, DE - SuiteRetail, a retail focused systems integration and consulting company, closed on a asset purchase of OnSite, a long time NetSuite ISV and the makers of OnSite POS for NetSuite.

Ideal for small and large fixed-lane retail stores, the OnSite solution will be rebranded as SuitePOS for NetSuite and will complement existing integrated solutions that are centered around omni-channel commerce and ERP solutions such as NetSuite.

SuitePOS for NetSuite, is in a app category on its own since it is the ONLY solution that is built using NetSuite development technology.  Unlike regular POS integrations, this is important because, by definition, the SuitePOS solution inherits all the functionality of NetSuite out of the box.

This means that complex solutions and workflows can be set up that cater for almost any type of retail operations.

In the upcoming months, SuiteRetail will be releasing a mobile terminal version of SuitePOS for NetSuite that is aimed at pop-up stores and/or companies that want to combine traditional POS sales with mobile based sales.

This mobile version will initially be deployed on Apple's iOS and will offer complete cash and carry functionality that includes bar code scanning and credit card processing.
